42 days prior to your arrival date.
When is the swimming pool open?
28th May to 12th September 2010.
When does the bus service from the Park to St Ives run?
28th May to 5th June and 3rd July to 4th September 2010. Outside of these dates we will be more than happy to provide you with the times of the local bus service (nearest stop is a 10 minute walk).
Can we have a BBQ?
Yes, but please ensure it is raised off the ground (blocks are available – please enquire at reception). Open camp fires are not permitted.
What time can we arrive and pitch?
Pitches are normally ready by 12 noon.
What is the latest departure time?
We request that all pitches are vacated by 10am.
Do you have an early arrivals holding area?
Yes, but please do not arrive before midnight. The arrivals area is directly on your right as you pass through the Park entrance.
What it is the latest check-in time?
9pm but we request that you call and inform us if you are planning to arrive after 6pm.
Do you offer a late departure facility?
Yes, you are welcome to park your car/caravan/motor van in our arrivals field and then proceed on your homeward journey later in the day. We do however require your pitch to be vacated by 10am as normal. There is no additional charge for this facility, but we do ask that you check and book this with reception.
Can we request a specific pitch?
Only bookings for seven nights or more can request specific pitches or to be next to friends. However, Flexi-Tent Pitches are not able to make any pitch requests.
Can we have friends visit us during our stay?
Yes, please refer to the section entitled ‘Day Visitors’ in our full terms and conditions document.
How far is the Park from the beach?
Carbis Bay beach is approximately one mile from the site. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk down but at least 30 minutes coming back up because of the very steep hill!
How far is the Park from St Ives?
We are located approximately two miles from the town centre.
Can you walk to St Ives from the Park?
Yes, it takes approximately 45 minutes along the stunning coastal footpath.
Can I bring dogs?
Yes, we welcome a maximum of two well behaved dogs per pitch. Please refer to the section entitled ‘Dogs’ in our full terms and conditions document.
What do I need to bring for a multi-serviced pitch?
10amp BS4343 round pin connector lead, 8 metres of waste water pipe and 8 metres of ½ inch water pipe to connect to a tap.
Do I have to pay or use tokens for the showers/swimming pool?
No, this is included in price you have paid.
I have stayed with you previously and would like the same pitch but can’t remember the number, can you help with this?
Yes, our computerised booking system stores details of previous bookings and can search using postcodes. Please telephone our reception to discuss your requirements.
How far is the nearest shop?
Costcutter convenience store is approximately ½ mile (open 7am to 10pm every day). Tesco is approximately 1 ½ miles.
