Camping in Cornwall

Pack your tent or hook up your caravan and head to Little Trevarrack Holiday Park in Carbis Bay.  An ideal base for camping and exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.

Little Trevarrack is set in 20 acres of landscaped grounds and provides the best camping facilities in the area. There are pitches to suit all, some with sea views and others tucked away behind convenient hedge rows. For more about the facilities we offer please visit our information about the park.

There are a number of attractions which are easily accessible from Little Trevarrack. Here are a few ideas for things to do during your camping holiday Cornwall.

Walking

The area is ideal for all types of visitors. If you enjoy a good walk you have England’s longest national trail virtually on your doorstep. This coastal path stretches along 630 miles of spectacular coastline and is connected with a network of walks inland.

Surfing

The North Coast of Cornwall is renowned for its superb surfing. We recommend Gwithian Beach which provides consistent and good quality waves. It caters for all levels as the waves tend to be smaller at one end and gradually get bigger the further you go towards Godrevy. If you are an adrenalin junkie why not try out the kite buggies here. This is an ideal place with a great expanse of beach at low tide.

St Ives

Streets-of-St.IvesThe neighbouring town of St Ives is easily accessible by bus or train. Enjoy a relaxing trip there by train, possibly one of the most picturesque and scenic ways to arrive in St Ives. The town is an ideal place to meander around with a delightful maze of streets and alleys. Relax for a coffee or a bite to eat in one of the many cafes’s, restaurants and bars. A trip here would not be complete without visiting one of the many art galleries. Most notable of these art galleries being the Tate St Ives.

The Eden Project

A holiday in Cornwall would not be complete without a visit to the Eden Project. One of the most visited attractions in England; it caters for all ages and interests. The list of attractions is extensive and includes the largest green house in the world and an outdoor stage which attracts world class performers. In the winter you will find a popular ice skating rink and there are lots of fun interactive and educational games. Many of these are based around recycling and looking after our planet. Don’t forget to leave yourself some time to spend in the shop, which sells a variety of unique products.

St Michaels Mount

St Michaels Mount is a medieval castle sitting amongst the sub-tropical island paradise close to Marazion. It is accessible at low tide by walking across the causeway, or at high tide by one of the regular ferry boats. Discover all about the legends and history and enjoy the panoramic views from this delightful place.

These ideas only touch on the many attractions you could visit whilst based at Little Trevarrack Holiday Park. We are passionate about Cornwall and have a wealth of knowledge of the area so please ask for recommendations to help make your visit a truly memorable one.  For the best summer holidays you could imagine – think camping holidays Cornwall.
